Did you know that the art of brewing tea is like conducting a symphony of flavors? And the secret ingredient to hitting all the right notes is the right temperature and brewing time! Let's dive into the complex world of tea brewing and discover why getting the temperature and brewing time perfect is absolutely tea-essential.

Whether you're sipping a delicate green tea, a bold black tea, a soothing white tea, a captivating oolong, or an herbal infusion, each type of tea has its unique personality. And believe it or not, they all dance to a different temperature beat! 🌡️💃

If you brew your tea with boiling hot water, you may end up with a bitter brew that makes your taste buds go, "Wow! That's too much!" That's certainly not what you want, is it? On the other hand, lukewarm water will make your tea shy and reserved, as if whispering, "Can you even taste me?" 🤫

But fear not! By learning the magic of temperature and time control, you can unlock the full potential of your tea leaves and create a symphony of flavors. Green teas & yellow teas like to sway for 2 - 3 mins at around 70-85°C / 158-185°F, while black teas prefer a bold dance for 4 - 5 mins at 90-100°C / 194-212°F. Oolongs show their skills best between 2 - 3 mins at 70°C - 80°C / 158°F - 176°F. And herbal teas? Well, they are free spirits who love the boiling point, around 85-100°C / 185-212°F for 4 - 5 mins. 🎶💃

It should be said that brewing at the lower end of the respective brewing time and temperature range results in a lighter taste, at the upper end a stronger one. In between, different combinations lead to different results!

So there are a few things to consider when it comes to temperature.
