Quick Guide to Brewing

Once your BRU Maker One is fully set up, making tea is child's play: 

• Open the lid of the machine 
• Remove the tea strainer from the device. 
• Addloose tea or a tea bag to the strainer. Close the tea strainer lid and place it back into the machine, making sure the tea strainer handles click into place. If using a tea bag, make sure the string hangs over the strainer handle so that the string and label hang out of the machine. 
• Close the lid of the device. 
• Place a cup under the spout. 

You can now choose the method of preparing your tea from various programs. The easiest way is via the main menu, which we will explain to you step by step below. We explain further options here. 

• Go to the main menu (If your device is in standby mode, just press any key to wake it up)  
• Check the water temperature, brewing time and water quantity settings in the main menu

• Once you have made the desired settings, press "START" or the middle button to start the brewing process. If you are unsure which settings to use, check the packaging of your tea or use the settings we recommend.  

To adjust your settings, do the following: 

• Press the left button to select “SETUP”. 

• Turn the main knob to adjust the water temperature. Confirm your selection with “NEXT”. 
• Select the desired brewing time by turning the main knob. Confirm with “NEXT”. 
• Select the amount of water according to the capacity of your cup. To do this, turn the main knob. Confirm your selection with “NEXT”. 
• Press “START” or the main button to start the brewing process.  

• The BRU Maker One starts brewing your tea. A countdown will now appear on the display.

• Be especially careful when opening the machine lid immediately after brewing. Hot steam may escape and the tea strainer may still be hot.
• After preparation or before brewing another cup, remove the tea strainer. Remove the tea leaves or tea bag. Rinse the tea strainer with a little water and detergent if necessary.
