How can I remove, clean or replace the silicone nozzle?

The silicone nozzle is the small black "spout" from which the tea is served. It is located beneath the glass brewing chamber

You should clean the silicone nozzle at least once a month. We recommend more frequent cleaning if flushing is deactivated.

Step 1: Remove the tea strainer and the glass brewing chamber to access the silicone nozzle.

Step 2: Pull the silicone tab upwards (this is the upper part of the silicone nozzle that faces the back of the machine) until the silicone nozzle detaches from the machine.

Step 3: Put the silicone nozzle in the dishwasher or clean it by hand with warm water and a little washing-up liquid. Dry it carefully with a tea towel. If you want to replace the silicone nozzle, clean the new one before installing it.

Step 4: Reattach the silicone nozzle. Ensure that it is correctly aligned, with the silicone tab facing the back of the device. Then pull the lower, protruding part of the nozzle downwards, until it clicks into place. If your hands or the nozzle are wet, it will be difficult to pull it down. In this case, use a paper towel to help you.

Step 5: Remember to reinsert the glass brewing chamber and the tea strainer before you start brewing again.

What to do if the nozzle is damaged?

The nozzle is very durable. Should it nevertheless be damaged (e.g. a crack in the silicone), contact our customer service.
