The silicone nozzle is the small black "spout" from which the tea is served. It is located under the glass brewing chamber.
Clean the silicone nozzle at least once a month. If the flush is disabled, we recommend cleaning more frequently.
Step 1: Remove the tea strainer and glass brewing chamber to access the silicone nozzle.
Step 2: Pull up on the silicone tab (this is the top part of the silicone nozzle that faces the back of the machine) until the silicone nozzle comes off the machine.
Step 3: Place the silicone nozzle in the dishwasher or clean it by hand with warm water and a little dish soap. Dry it thoroughly with a dish towel. In case you want to replace the silicone nozzle, clean the new one before installing it.
Step 4: Reattach the silicone nozzle. Make sure it is correctly orientedwith the silicone tab towards the back of the device. Then pull the lower, protruding part of the nozzle downuntil you feel and hear it click into place. If your hands or the nozzle are wet, it will be difficult to pull it down. In this case, use a paper towel .
Step 5: Remember to replace the glass brewing chamber and the tea strainer before you start brewing again.
What to do if the nozzle is damaged?
The nozzle is very durable. Should it nevertheless be damaged (e.g. a crack in the silicone), replacement parts will soon be available on our website.
